We provide personalized, non-medical in-home care services tailored to each client’s individual needs. Our services include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation and appointment escort, respite care, and assistance with daily living activities. We also provide specialized support for individuals who may need additional assistance due to conditions such as dementia or other chronic conditions.

We proudly serve Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Walnut Creek, Concord, and neighboring communities. Getting started is easy. Simply contact Preferred Hands Home Care to schedule a consultation. We’ll take the time to learn about your loved one’s needs, preferences, and daily routine, answer your questions, and discuss the care options that may be appropriate. From there, we’ll work with you to develop a personalized care plan and determine the best way to begin services.

Our caregivers undergo a thorough screening and onboarding process, including background checks and required clearances, before providing care. We carefully evaluate each caregiver’s qualifications, experience, reliability, and suitability for in-home care. We also work to match caregivers with clients based on their individual needs and preferences, helping ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable care experience.

Yes. We understand that every client has different needs and routines. Care schedules can be customized based on the level of support needed, preferred days and times, and the client’s daily routine. Whether care is needed for a few hours a day, several days a week, or on a more regular basis, we will work with you to develop a schedule that best supports your loved one and your family’s needs.

Preferred Hands Home Care provides non-medical home care services, which are generally not covered by Medicare or standard health insurance. Care is typically paid for privately by the client or family. Depending on your circumstances, other funding options may be available, such as long-term care insurance or certain benefit programs. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider or benefits administrator to determine whether your plan provides coverage for in-home care services.
